Kyra is an Associate Attorney in the Firm’s Land Use & Zoning, Environmental, and Real Estate practices. Kyra focuses her practice in Anne Arundel County and Maryland’s Eastern Shore but is admitted to practice in all of Maryland. Kyra’s practice includes litigation involving land use disputes; comprehensive zoning review; representation involving nonconforming uses, special exceptions, or variances; contract drafting, review, and defense; and preparation for appeals before the Anne Arundel County Board of Appeals, circuit courts, and the Appellate Court of Maryland.
Kyra received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from East Carolina University with a minor in Geological Studies. Kyra then attended and received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law graduating Cum Laude with a Certificate of Concentration in Environmental Law. While attending law school, Kyra served as a Senior Editor for law school’s Journal of Health Care Law & Policy and a Staff Attorney of the Environmental Law Clinic. After law school, Kyra served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Brynja M. Booth of the Supreme Court of Maryland.
