From Baltimore, take MD-295 S to I-695 E toward Glen Burnie. Keep left to continue onto I-97 S, following signs for Annapolis/Bay Bridge. In 18 miles, stay left to merge onto US-301 N/US-50 E. Take exit 24 on the right for MD-70 S/Rowe Blvd., then turn right onto Taylor Ave. at the corner with Graul’s Market. Continue 0.8 miles and enter the traffic circle; you will find Hyatt & Weber in the first building on your right, between West St. and Spa Rd.
From Washington, D.C., take US-50 E/New York Ave. NE into Maryland, keeping right to stay on US-50 E. Take exit 24 for MD-70 S/Rowe Blvd. toward Annapolis. Continue straight for 0.6 miles and turn right onto Taylor Ave., then enter the traffic circle to find us in the building between West St. and Spa Rd. on your right.
The city of Annapolis began as a settlement called Providence in 1649. Later called Anne Arundel’s Towne, Annapolis received its current name in 1694 and was incorporated as a city in 1708. It briefly served as the seat of the Continental Congress between 1783 and 1784.
Annapolis is the capital of Maryland and the county seat of Anne Arundel County. The city’s population currently numbers more than 38,000, and it is the home of the United States Naval Academy, thus earning the city its nickname as “America’s Sailing Capital.”
